Miia is one of Finland’s most productive producers. In the past few years, Miia has produced the films Eden, Miami, Tom of Finland, Unknown Soldier, Wonderland, Pixadores, and Head First, among others. Miia holds a Master of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In 2017 Miia founded Tekele Productions, which she also owns.
Tia has over twelve years of experience in feature films and tv-drama. Before joining Tekele, she was the producer of the medical drama Nurses, and eventually the showrunner of the latest season. She has worked in several production companies, such as Yellow Film & Tv, Helsinki-filmi, Filmiteollisuus Fine, Funny Films, Zodiak Entertainment. As a line producer and production manager, Tia also worked for many years alongside Miia in feature films such as Headfirst and Gold Digger and the documentary Madame President. As a producer, Tia’s first short film So it goes was awarded Best Student film at the Sehsüchte festival and Best film (YoungTalent Award) at the Film School Fest Munich in 2012. Tia has also been a producer for Fake Production, an award winning animation, virtual reality and creative studio.
Marja is a producer and filmmaker based in Helsinki. She holds a Master of Arts degree in film and TV producing from Aalto University. Marja has produced several short films that have screened at Visions du Réel, Karlovy Vary, Hot Docs, Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs and Nordisk Panorama, among many others. 2019 she was selected to Berlinale Talents and Nordic Talents. Marja is interested in fresh stories and new filmmakers with a voice of their own.
Julia is a producer originally from Tampere, nowadays based in Helsinki. Julia holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree from the Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Julia has produced several short films, and a feature film called Elvis & Onerva, which premiered in June 2019. In addition to producing, she has also worked in film distribution as well as the movie theatre and film festival sectors. Julia is interested in stories that give a new perspective to the world.
